Kharta valley
trekking will depart for Lhasa on Air China with
the great views of the world’s highest mountain,
Mt. Everest, third highest mountain,
Kanchanjungha and more. Upon arrive you in
Gongkar airport, met our Tibet agent then
proceed to transfer to the Hotel in the Lhasa
for approx 3 nights, which will help you to
acclimatize for your grand tour to this
inaccessible land and sightseeing as well.
During your stay in Lhasa, visit the famous
Potala Palace, the Jhokhang, great monasteries
and walk through the bustling Barkhor Market, a
fine introductory tour to the heart of Tibet and
the classical trek to Kharta Valley.
The trip starts with drive from Lhasa through
the friendship bridge and trek lead to Kharta
from Xegar. Next day we continue trek to Kharta.
Following the route to North Everest Base Camp,
you will have enough time to explore the Rongbuk
glacier below the massive north-face of Mt.
Everest and Cho Oyu Base Camp. After having the
magnificent views of worlds highest mountain
scenery you will be back to Kathmandu. An expert
Nepalese Sherpa staffs for which we use yaks
and/or truck will support the trek portion.

Days 01 :
TUES/SAT Kathmandu / Lhasa (3650m)
Departures on you are schedule with Air China’s
flight to Lhasa. Upon your arrival at Gonggar
airport you shall be met your Tibetan guide and
transfer to hotel and O/nt at Hotel in Lhasa. |
Days 02 :
Sightseeing @ Lhasa
Sightseeing tour of Sera Monastery, Jokhang Temple
and Barkhor Bazaar |
Days 03 :
Sightseeing @ Lhasa
Sightseeing tour of Patala & Norbulinka Palace and
Drepung Monastery |
Days 04 :
Lhasa / Gyantse (3950m)
Drive to Gyantse via Yamdruk, Karo la & Kamba La and
O/nt at Hotel in Gyantse. |
Days 05 :
Gyantse / Shigatse (3900m)
Drive to Shigatse visiting, Khumbum, Phalkhor &
Shalu Monastery and O/nt at Hotel in Shigatse. |
Days 06 :
Shigatse / Xegar (4350m)
Drive to Xegar and Visit Tashilunpo Monastery & free

Xegar / Kharta / Strasse (3500m)
